Dancing Astronaut’s five can’t-miss Coachella sets in the Yuma Tent

The 2024 Coachella lineup boasts a variety of dance music headliners, including Justice, Everything Always (comprising John Summit and Dom Dolla), Anyma, Bicep, and more. Still, Coachella’s small but mighty Yuma Tent tends to generate some of the major festival’s best programming, and even some of it most memorable moments. Presented and hosted by Framework, the 2024 Yuma bill exemplifies a stellar cast of in-demand DJ talent. Gorgon City, ANOTR, Kevin de Vries, and Reiner Zonneveld, in addition to a plethora of scene shaping acts, will tend decks in the confined dance space this month. Fans of deep house, melodic techno, and progressive dance music can fulfill their four-on-the-floor fantasies in the Yuma Tent all weekend long. Dancing Astronaut has compiled a list of certain can’t miss acts in the Yuma tent this year—read them below.

Prepare for a groovy journey as Adam Ten and Mita Gami take the stage for a back-to-back DJ set. Drawing from Adam Ten’s early influences in industrial and new wave music, the joint set promises a fusion of dark, atmospheric house while also pulling from Mita Gami’s emotive and melodic soundscapes. Both named Dancing Astronaut Artists to Watch in 2024, the DJ pair will endure a monumental moment for Israeli-born artists at Coachella 2024. Last year, Ten and Gami’s infectious remix of Parallelle and Nicolas Masseyeff‘s “Renegade” proved to be one of Ibiza’s most popular tracks of 2023.

Get ready for an unforgettable Coachella moment as 2023 Dancing Astronaut Artist To Watch Kevin de Vries, alongside German tastemaker Kölsch, join forces for another back-to-back set. Kevin de Vries has quickly become one of Afterlife‘s most notable artists, boasting hits “Dance With Me”, “Metro”, and “Tokyo Nights”. His experimentation with varying sub-genres, inspired by Berlin’s underground music scene, has allowed de Vries to carve out a globally resonant niche, one between the sonic themes of both Afterlife and Drumcode. Kölsch’s emotive melodies and storytelling will evoke a dynamic and emotionally resonant joint performance. The duo previously collaborated on Gate/Masterplan EP, streaming via Kölsch’s Ipso recording imprint.

Adriatique has become a household name in dance music, credited to their unique transfusion of melodic techno and deep house. Their co-founded X imprint has gained traction as a noteworthy audio-visual production that cannot be missed. And while their Yuma tent performance will be less focused on the visuals, Adriatique remains a must see act. Stream recent hit “Miracle” below.
