Day Zero returns to Tulum with Dubfire, Fatboy Slim, & more

Day Zero, is set to make its return on January 11th, 2025. Founded by Damian Lazarus in 2012, this immersive experience has become a cornerstone of the electronic music calendar. Blending ancient Mayan traditions with cutting-edge sound and technology.

For this edition, the Crosstown Rebels label head has curated a notable lineup featuring Fatboy Slim, Major League DJz, DJ Harvey, Patrick Mason, Lee Burridge, Dubfire. Victor Calderone, Carlita, Adam Ten, Mita Gami, Mëstiza, Sonja Moonear, Francesca Lombardo, Anthony Middleton, Bartolomeo, Sainte Vie, Sabrina, MNTY, Rafatel, Roderic, Discosis, Secret Echoes, and more.  Sidartha Siliceo will open with a purification ceremony, setting the spiritual tone for the night.

Beyond the music, Day Zero is committed to environmental and social responsibility. Through its Crosstown Consciousness program, the event collaborates with local communities and Mayan spiritual leaders on various initiatives. These include converting plastic waste into festival fuel, partnering with UNESCO for coral reef restoration, funding a local music school, organizing cleanups, and leading reforestation efforts in Tulum.

Ahead of the special celebration, Damian Lazarus shared a cryptic message on his social media accounts, with the message ‘Something Magickal coming – Wednesday January 8th 2025,’ and a graphic figure similar to a sorcerer. Check it out here.
