Deep Root Records caters to New York house music enthusiasts with newly minted weekly party series, Deep Root Sessions – EDM All Day
Starting November 7, Thursday nights belong to Deep Root Sessions. The weekly sonic party series will embody the imprint’s emphasis on house music, to bring New York a menu of local and established underground acts.
Genre heavyweight, OFFAIAH, Deep Root Records label head, Francis Mercier, BVR, and Rico are slated to appear at the inaugural Deep Root Sessions, hosted at New York’s Public Arts. The seminal house showcase will notably constitute OFFAIAH’s New York debut.
Moving forward, Deep Root Sessions will foreground the vibrant multitudes of house music at Public Arts each Thursday, shuffling through a selection of deep house, tech house, disco house, and more. Poised to become an irresistible staple of New York’s underground event circuit, Deep Root Sessions are not only a rapturous new addition to the electronic calendar, but also evidence of the imprint’s widening influence on New York nightlife.
Deep Root Records is reputed for its high-energy house music events, such as their recently concluded Soho Grand Halloween bash. Now, the label expands its purview from electrifying one-off affairs to a resident series that will indubitably become a weekly ritual for house aficionados.
Later in the month, Deep Root Sessions will host Francis Mercier on November 14, and Roger Sanchez and Ferreck Dawn on November 21. Like OFFAIAH, Sanchez and Dawn are notable for releasing some of their most celebrated cuts Defected Records.
