Did not see this rework coming. Beautiful Happy Hardcore spin on the Italian rock hit “Bello e Impossibile”

• Happy Hardcore meets classic Italian rock
• Kicks hit hard, lead synths play around
• A bold cover that somehow works

Alright, I did not see this coming. A Happy Hardcore rework of Gianna Nannini’s 1986 rock hit Bello e Impossibile? That’s pretty wild, but hey, I’m here for it. The original is a classic: rock energy, iconic vocals, the kind of song you still find yourself humming decades later. So hearing it in a fast, rave-ready style feels strange at first. But don’t let that put you off.

Groove Coverage, DJane HouseKat, and sugar3itch joined forces for this one, and the result is actually pretty cool. Groove Coverage has a solid reputation for reworks (remember their stuff with W&W?), so they know their way around flipping tracks. The kicks punch hard like you expect in happy hardcore, and the lead synth lines take some playful turns that keep things fresh. It’s a great cover, with space for a new melody line, and a “uh uh” vocal sample that really catches the attention. Very creative way of creafting a reinvention that keeps the spirit of the original while throwing in new vibes.

I can imagine some fans of the original rolling their eyes at this brave take. Fair enough. But honestly, “Bello e Impossibile” is catchy as hell. It grabs your attention fast, and those bouncy synths make it impossible to ignore. The vocals keep that fiery attitude but with a shiny electronic gloss that fits perfectly.

If you like your dance music with a side of nostalgia and something unexpected, this unexpected collab hits the spot. It’s an odd mix but somehow comes together.
