Dillon Francis dons DJ Hanzel alter ego once again to cure the quarantine blues—stream 'One Deeper 001'

Little did we know, but DJ Hanzel was the hero we all needed in these strange hours.

It has been a few years since we’ve really heard from Dillon Francis‘ deeper alter ego, DJ Hanzel. Though now, with the quarantine blues in full effect, Francis saw hit to bring his satyrical side project back for an hour-long stream of some tasty house grooves from behind Hanzel’s signature black-out wayfarers.

After an interview series, guest mixes on Diplo & Friends and BBC One, and an official release on Mad Decent, Hanzel had gone radio silent in recent years. Though now, the “Anxiety” producer has resurfaced, merely to remind us all to go “one deeper,” and if the title of the new mix serves any indication, perhaps he’ll be around to stay this time with additional mix installments to follow. In the meantime, turn down the lights, throw on some black, and head down the rabbit hole with DJ Hanzel (starts at 31:00).
