While chronic jokester, Dillon Francis, has had the EDM world’s ribs tickling as he claimed his prank-fueled vengeance against DJ Snake earlier this week, he’s turned right around and shown he hasn’t skipped a beat in the studio. A celebrated remixer, Francis is known for trying his hand at widely popular tracks like Passion Pit‘s “Carried Away” and Halsey‘s “Bad At Love.” This time around, he’s re-envisioned Cardi B‘s latest single, “I Like It,” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, which, so far, has topped out at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In this sweltering rendition, Francis gasses up the tempo, as well as Cardi’s forceful raps. The remix further accentuates the original’s titillating Latin fervor, and introduces a trap drop that is likely to spice up legions of festival sets this summer.
The remix comes ahead of Francis’ 2018-scheduled Spanish-language album release, from which so far, he’s released a number of tracks, including “Ven,” “We The Funk,” and “Sexo.”
