Diplo and Born Dirty's 'Samba Sujo' gets remix treatment
2019 has been an interesting year for superstar DJ and producer Diplo. Fully exploring his musical prowess and expanding into the country market, the talented musician gave Lil Nas X‘s “Old Town Road” an official remix, accompanied by a performance at country music festival Stagecoach and the launch of his own country music project, dubbed Thomas Wesley. Thankfully, he still blessed us with a wide variety of electronic hits as well, including collaborations with Valentino Khan, Wuki, and Born Dirty, the latter of which, a bouncy dance single named “Samba Sujo,” just released an official remix pack.
The remix pack includes two unique takes on Diplo and Born Dirty’s original courtesy of Blond:ish and Felix Da Housecat & Dave The Hustler. Blond:ish’s remix blends the unique vocals of the original hit with an assortment of groovy drums that together form a house music vibe perfectly suited for both summer beach parties and underground warehouses. Felix Da Housecat & Dave The Hustler’s collaborative remix follows a similar feeling, leaning more closely to techno while still providing a feel-good dance beat sure to make its rounds in 2020’s festival and concert circuit.
