Diplo and deadmau5 guest on David Spade's 'Lights Out' show [Watch]
This past week, Diplo and deadmau5 both made separate appearances on David Spade‘s Comedy Central show Lights Out With David Spade. The post-Daily Show slot features Spade doing monologues, comedy skits, and entertaining his guests, who are usually comedians. Last month, Lights Out secured Chance The Rapper. This week’s episode followed in a similar suit with its guest features from not one, but two EDM superstars.
On deadmau5’s segment of the show, the Canadian producer starred in an extended comedic bit in which he tries out to be Spade’s house band. For Diplo’s Lights Out portion, the Major Lazer member appeared alongside Whitney Cummings and Thomas Lennon on a four-way panel discussion about social media with Spade.
deadmau5 released the follow-up to his full length album where’s the drop—remix album here’s the drop!—earlier this month. He is currently on his Cube v3 tour. Meanwhile, Diplo has continued to move into country territory, locking in his second Stagecoach appearance slated for 2020. He has also hinted at Jack Ü‘s long-awaited return in 2020 as well.
