Upcoming film The High Note, directed by Nisha Ganatra, follows an overworked and under-appreciated personal assistant to fictional pop superstar Grace Davis. For a film exploring the ins and outs of the music industry, who could be better to star than musicians Ice Cube and Diplo?
Ice Cube stars in The High Note as a top-notch record executive working with Grace Davis on an upcoming album, while Diplo, whose role in the film isn’t entirely revealed in the trailer, stars as himself. From country music to acting, with Major Lazer, LSD, and a hundred other ventures in between, random white dude really do be everywhere.
