Diplo, Charli XCX, and Herve Pagez remake The Spice Girl's 'Wannabe'

The list of Diplo productions never ends. After releasing his Higher Ground EP less than a month ago, the juggernaut artist has output an unexpected new project alongside Charli XCX and Herve Pagez that marks the first time the three artists’ have collaborated together. They took to their socials to promote the forthcoming collaboration, surprising fans by letting them know it would be released the next day.

The track is called “Spicy,” and it sees transform The Spice Girl’s “Wannabe” into a dancehall track while still maintaining the infectious integrity of the original. The “Spicy” release accompanies the kickoff of The Spice Girls reunion tour, and it has been released alongside of the full technicolor music video, which features all three collaborators and copious amounts of dolphins.
