Diplo locked in for second Stagecoach appearance in 2020

Diplo is a country artist now. A one-time fluke booking at Stagecoach Music Festival to get the after hours crowd going could have been chalked up as a fun publicity stunt. Though almost a year later, Diplo, or rather Thomas Wesley, has a growing catalog of country-leaning material and now he’s even locked in for a second outing at the most famous country festival in the US.

The three-day Goldenvoice affair, held at the Empire Polo Fields where Coachella takes place, turned in a thick 2020 lineup of country music power players topped by Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, and Thomas Rhett. Diplo is featured prominently in the undercard next to his holiness Guy Fieri, Mayor of Flavortown. Additionally, Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus are locked in for Stagecoach 2020, so expect the three to reunite for another live performance a year after “Old Town Road” changed the game.
