DJ Snake announces release date for sophomore LP, 'Carte Blanche'
DJ Snake has been hyping his sophomore album since last summer, and while he’s kept fans at bay with a handful of hits over the last year, anticipation for the upcoming LP is reaching a fever pitch. Now, as the record creeps closer, an official title and release date have surfaced, signaling to a massive summer blockbuster, now known as Carte Blanche, on the way.
Recently, a rumored tracklist surfaced online including contributions from ZHU, Burna Boy, Bryson Tiller, Majid Jordan, and more. The tracklist also includes a French Connection posse cut with Tchami, Mercer, and Malaa, along with the sweeping Cardi B and Selena Gomez-assisted hit “Taki Taki,” “Try Me,” and “Loco.” Carte Blanche is set to land on July 26 Geffen Records, arriving nearly three years to the day after Snake’s debut LP, Encore.
