The electric sky is closer than ever! The Insomniac founder continues to surprise us with a fun concept to reveal this year’s EDC Las Vegas lineup. Earlier this week, Pasquale Rotella announced the theme for this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival. The Kinetic Circle represents everything in life coming full circle. A livestream with Insomniacs team was this year’s strategy to announce this insane lineup (a gimmick that hadn’t been done in four years). Each song on the mix represents a headliner, and the public ought to discover each artists by themselves, and of course a little bit of Shazam. Without further ado, let’s dig in deep into this year’s stellar lineup.
Logistics
From the return of Hotel EDC to brand new apartment camping, EDC continues to evolve. During the announcement, Pasquale Rotella and his time made multiple claims of brand new stage designs, new placements, additions, and extra special surprise guests.
The Insomniac team played mini mixes that represent all nine stages at the venue, and it’s up to the listeners to decipher the artists. The interactive experience invites EDC lovers. Pasquale also stated that the entire layout will change to allow better movement flow to avoid bottlenecks in at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Moreover, they are repaving the Speedway to offer a smoother surface to rage on.
New additions to the map include a different layout for Downtown EDC and a new bar called Yee-DC Country Saloon(lol). Furthermore, more art installations and different art cars will be displayed. The opening ceremony will only happen Friday May 17, since the organizers recognized a lot of attendees did not make it on time. Most likely, there will be lots of new details to be revealed as the time gets closer.

The lineup is a mix of the songs we could hear during the mini mixes plus suggestions from social media peeps and Reddit.
