Eric Prydz cancels all Miami performances, cites medical condition
On Tuesday evening March 26, Eric Prydz officially announced cancellation of all his appearances in Miami including his sold-out Wynwood Factory Pryda show and headlining slots at Ultra Music Festival. In what began as mere speculation, Prydz’s eventual cancellation progressed from the removal of his Wynwood show from the venue website to actual confirmation.
One of the most highly anticipated acts for both MMW and Ultra, Prydz’s absence will be felt, his announcement coming as a shock to many. He posted on Twitter both apologizing and relaying a message concerning “an acute medical condition”.
I am really sorry but due to an acute medical condition I am unable to travel or perform in Miami this week. I am truly gutted to miss any shows but especially Miami as this is one of my favourite times of the year.

Pryda ticket-holders will receive refunds and a free week-long pass for pre-midnight entry to Wynwood shows. Prydz was slotted to play a back-to-back with Adam Beyer at Ultra’s new Resistance Island on Friday as well as the ASOT stage on Sunday. With only days left before the festival, the line-up situation for who will fill the gap left by the Swedish veteran still remains unclear, although his presence will surely be missed.
