Ericsson Globe Changes Its Name To Avicii Arena

The Swedish Ericsson Globe has recently been named Avicii Arena to honor the passing of the late icon. The hub will also be a free space for youth and advocate for lifting the stigma around mental health. 

To celebrate the launching of the Avicii arena, there was also an emotional performance where the 14-year-old Swedish singer Ella Tiritiello sang “ For A Better Day.” The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied the young singer. 

Ericsson Globe was opened in 1989, Tim, aka. Avicii had performed there nine years ago. 

While Klas Bergling, the father of the late icon Avicii has added that the arena will host activities to become a spot for the youth.
