Esther Anaya sets free empowering new single, ‘Higher Self’
Esther Anaya ushers in 2024 with her spirited, vocal-centric new single, “Higher Self.” This release marks Anaya’s first of the year, following a prolific 2023 that saw the DJ and musician drop three impactful tracks: “Sweet Dreams,” “Fiesta,” and “Before I Go.”
“‘Higher Self’ is a song that talks about your transition from the lowest version of yourself to your best version and mastering your higher self. [It’s] inspired by a period of time in my life where I felt vulnerable, and lost, trying to follow what everyone else wanted me to do [and] finally realizing that we’re all unique and have our own purpose and trademark in life. Getting out of my comfort and tapping into my spiritual higher self for guidance and forgetting about all the negativity & obstacles around me that were trying to pull me down in life,” Anaya shared.
Anaya’s latest effort stands as a testament to her dynamic career, which includes being the official DJ for the LA Chargers and performances at the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Game. In 2022, she collaborated with Snoop Dogg on his 2022 single “BAYC” and previously played the violin on Lil Yachty’s 2017 album, Teenage Emotions.
“Higher Self” is among more than 10 new records slated for release this year, heralding Anaya’s versatility and hinting at a promising year ahead for the artist. Stream it below.
