Excision is currently working on his fifth album

Excision isn’t spending his time at home idly during the coronavirus pandemic; instead, the Lost Lands festival head is “hiding out in the studio” working on his next album, according to a tweet published on April 5.

In the tweet, Excision thanked fans for supporting “Feel Something,” a collaboration between the bass maven and Illenium that was born when weather concerns prompted the cancellation of Global Dance Festival, where both disc-jockeys were slated to deliver a back-to-back set.

Upon the event’s cancellation, Excision and Illenium pivoted to the studio to use the time that they would have spent behind the decks on the making of a record that listeners would later come to know as “Feel Something,” Excision explained.

After expressing his appreciation for his following’s embrace of the joint effort, Excision indicated that his next longform outing was in the works. The LP, which is notably Excision’s fifth studio album, will follow 2018’s Apex.
