An imposing fire has burned the main stage of the Tomorrowland festival, which was planned to start next Friday, July 18th, 2025, in the Belgian city of Boom. At the moment, the origin of the flames is unknown.

The images of the event did not take long to spread on social networks. “The main stage of Tomorrowland, one of the largest music festivals in Europe, held in Belgium, has been set on fire and has been completely consumed two days before its premiere,” a user commented on X.

The emergency services are working, as confirmed by the local police, who have prioritized the safety of the festival’s employees present in the flamenco town of Boom. The police also asked residents in the area to close doors and windows to avoid smoke poisoning.

This year’s theme, ‘Orbyz’, is described by the festival as “a magical universe sculpted entirely from ice,”  featuring 16 stages, and including a long list of artists including Anyma, Armin van Buuren, Alok, Amber Broos, Charlotte De Witte, Amelie Lens, ANNA, Martin Garrix, Job Jobse, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Fisher, among many others.
