French producer Habstrakt has crafted his sinister brand of house music for a variety of labels, but on June 28, he makes his debut on a brand new one: Gud Vibrations.
His first showing on NGHTMRE and SLANDER‘s label finds the artist cooking up a whirlwind of bass and beats by the name of “De La Street.” The producer asserts his dominant style from the get-go, slamming listeners’ ears with the forceful style of house music he’s become known for. While the beat moves the song along, Habstrakt has concocted an overall tone that’s moody and grinding. Its gritty qualities make it an exceptional follow-up to “Infinite,” which came out on Monstercat earlier this month.
At the year’s halfway point, Habstrakt has made a impressive mark, thrilling fans around the world with hits like “Control,” “All Night,” and “Darkness.” With the attention songs like these are receiving, it’s unlikely the world will see him slow down in the latter portion of 2019.
