Hot on the heels of his heavy-handed remix of Nessly’s “Foreign Sheets,” produced alongside AJ Salvatore, Saw Gent switches sonic gears to share a brand new single, “Here.” The original production sources its piercing vocal from featured artist, Cammie Robinson. Her alto is a bold accent to the beat, which pulsates with contained but pronounced force.
Moody, deeply toned synths imbue “Here” with a sense of sonic drama that reaches its apex with the arch of the cut’s chords. “Here” is a potent prelude to Saw Gent’s impending announcement of his new hybrid performance format, which will see Saw Gent blend live elements with his DJ sets in his 2020 appearances.
