Flume alludes to new side project, 300ZX Z31, plus new music with Toro y Moi – EDM All Day
can always be counted on as a home for top tier internet sleuthing. The latest discovery made by those in its r/Trap community is particularly notable: a brand new Flume side project.
Future Classic quietly added a new song into his “Flume Essentials” playlist on Spotify titled, “The Difference.” Clocking in at 31 seconds, it was listed under the name “300ZX Z31″—which happened to only have that particular single under their name. Ardent fants were quick on the case, noting that “300ZX Z31” was the car Flume used in the visualizers and art for his Hi, This Is Flume mixtape. Since the playlist is run by Future Classic, it’s unlikely the placement was a mistake.
Flume later posted a video himself on Twitter, a quick video clip of him talking about a new drum ‘n’ bass single he created while “messing about”with Toro y Moi.
It seems as though the musician has quite a few tricks up his sleeve in store for 2020.
