Ultra‘s storied return to fan-beloved Bayfront Park next year has been paved with uncertainty. But the Miami festival’s first wave of artistry has certainly abated anxieties some.
Gesaffelstein, Major Lazer, Zedd, Flume, and more top-tier electronic mainstays have been secured for Ultra’s upcoming spring arm in sunny Florida. Attendees should simply expect nothing less from a festival that’s proven its curatorial prowess time and time again over the years—which is why so many make the annual trek from continents near and far to attend.
News of Flume’s impending performance arrives alongside another special announcement for the Aussie icon: his Grammy nomination for his Hi This Is Flume mixtape of earlier this year. In its torrential first wave of talent, the festival also touts the likes of David Guetta, Fisher, DJ Snake, Above & Beyond, and more cross-genre firepower; hardly to be deemed ancillary additions by any accounts.
Ultra Miami’s road to redemption after its tactical turmoil of this past year today certainly becomes a little less windy. Tickets are on sale now, here.
