Flume heavily alludes to new side project: 300ZX Z31 – EDM All Day

can always be counted on as a home for top tier internet sleuthing. The latest discovery made by those in its r/Trap community is particularly notable: a brand new Flume side project.

The Australian maestro subtly added a new song into his “Hi This Is” playlist on Spotify titled, “The Difference.” Clocking in at 31 seconds, it was filed under the name “300ZX Z31″—which happened to only have that particular single under their name. Ardent fants were quick on the case, noting that “300ZX Z31” was the car Flume used in the visualizers and art for his Hi, This Is Flume mixtape.

Suspicions were all but confirmed by Flume himself on Twitter shortly afterward, a quick video clip of him talking about a new track that matched the aesthetic of “The Difference.” In the clip, he also mentioned this track was a collaboration with Toro y Moi.

It seems as though the musician has quite a few tricks up his sleeve in store for 2020.
