Four Tet announces show with 42,000 hanging lights
You bloody didn’t misread this headline. The designers behind Four Tet’s renowned live show are upping the ante for the UK producers next German show.
The UK based Squidsoup (a digital and interactive media experience-based company) is working around the clock to create a digitally augmented live show that goes THAT step further and accommodates for an enormous 12,000 people, for a mega immersive light installation.
The event is set to go down at Berlin’s spectacular Velodrom arena on October the 17th. It has presented a reflective moment with the real name Kieran coming out on Twitter and saying “The first time I played in Berlin in the early 2000’s no one came. I think it was just me and the sound engineer and someone from the record label”.

The news comes as Four Tet maintains a purple patch in his creative output including, a recent remix of Skrillex and Boys Noize, his Anna’s Painting EP, some releases under his weird-ass alias name and the first singles off his forthcoming LP, ‘Baby’.
