Go 'All Night' with Afrojack on new single featuring Ally Brooke – EDM All Day
There’s been a lot of Afrojack buzz in 2020, beginning with the announcement that his imprint, Wall Recordings, will return to its original home at Spinnin’ Records. In 2019, the Grammy award winner wrote some of the label’s biggest releases, including Chico Rose‘s “Sad” (an XXXTentacion cover), and Yves V‘s “We Got That Cool” with Icona Pop. Thus, the decision to permanently seal Wall back into the Spinnin’ family felt like a natural next step.
On his latest Wall release, Afrojack enlisted multi-platinum singer Ally Brooke, whose track record spans across collaborations with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Matoma, and Tyga. “All Night” sees Brooke exploring uplifting dance territory with the Dutch producer, with her shimmering vocals being accompanied by euphoric lead synths and a percussive structuring mirroring those used in EDM’s heyday. Afrojack had some words on the track:
“It’s great to be back home at Spinnin’ Records doing what I love the most, making new music, and connecting with fans. For my new track I wanted to work on something with an upbeat dance-pop feel to get people moving ready for the Spring and Summer. Ally is a phenomenal singer, her voice makes the track unique and really pop, it was cool to collaborate with her.”
In addition to the label move and single release, Afrojack also revealed that his techno alias, Kapuchon, will perform at Tomorrowland Winter in March. Ally Brooke also begins her “Time To Shine” tour in Chicago.
