Start out your day today by spending some quality time with audio-visual artists Sinjin Hawke and Zora Jones. When the pair gets together, they’re known for divergent, futuristic productions that incorporate as many senses (and sounds) as possible. Their platform Fractal Fantasy houses these creations, and their latest EP, Vicious Circles, was released in early August. Clash commissioned a mix for the occasion, and it has something for every fan of electronic and hip-hop music.
While this mix might not include the Spanish duo’s signature self-taught CGI to go along with it, it includes mesmerizing fantastical experimental moments that are oddly familiar and satisfying to listen to. Ever the ones to try new things, the duo explained a 2016 interview with FACT Magazine how they are able to keep pushing themselves creatively. “We learn as we go, anything that we get interested in we try to learn it ourselves.” This mix is precise and technical, like their own original music, much of which is included within.
