Grimes teases another album and more!

It’s the first time we’ve seen her in four years since her ‘Art Angels‘ release all the way back in 2015. We’re talking about none other than the enigmatic Grimes who’s spilled the beans to a fan that a 5th album is imminently on the way.

The news broke after the Canadian native who dated tech entrepreneur Elon Musk for while, responded to a fan on Instagram quoting:

“Album is way done but we don’t have priority at facilities to make the physical stuff, so basically just chillin while it gets made haha… I’m on an Indie label so basically it takes 3 months to even just print vinyl… I have lots of stuff coming and some features w other ppl etc. It’ll be a good productive year”.

So what else do we know about the album so far. Well according to NME, it’s called Miss_Anthropocene. Grimes said on the body of work that it’s an ‘anthropomorphic Goddess of climate Change: A psychedelic, space-dwelling demon/ beauty-Queen who relishes the end of the world. She’s composed of Ivory and Oil,” wrote Boucher. Completely nice and normal, then…’

Grimes’s label 4AD hasn’t dropped any details yet on the impending album, but maybe we might be lucky enough to get one of those collaborations she mentions in the meantime!
