Haarlem Vinyl Festival announces its first selection of artists
Featuring Anastasia Kristensen, Altin Gün, Bettie Serveert, Cassy, Celine Cairo, Colin Benders, Douglas Firs, and more.
The Haarlem Vinyl Festival, which honors global vinyl culture, returns to the heart of Haarlem. This three-day event, running from the 27th to the 29th of September 2024, anticipates attracting 25,000 attendees, making it the world’s first multi-day vinyl festival.
The lineup includes artists such as Anastasia Kristensen, Altin Gün, Bettie Serveert, Cassy, Celine Cairo, Colin Benders, Douglas Firs, Nedda Sou, One Eye Witness, Little Steve & the Big Beat, Shakedown Tim & the Rhythm Revue, Sven Hammond Big Band, Thrills in +41, and Willem.
The event will delve into aspects of vinyl culture, encompassing production, marketing, art, design, and history. Highlights include a Vinyl conference, tours at Record Industry (Europe’s largest pressing plant), an open-air record fair, and an independent label market at PHIL.
Music personalities such as Urban Dance Squad’s Rudeboy and Cassy will showcase their favorite records at PHIL. The festival’s agenda also features academic presentations, including a talk by music scholar Karlyn King.
Spanning over 30 locations, the Haarlem Vinyl Festival will commemorate recorded music and the love for vinyl, set against the historic backdrop of Haarlem city.
