Helena Hauff teases the first EP, ‘Living With Ants’ off her new label

Helena Hauff is releasing her first EP on her new Return To Disorder label, Living With Ants, set to be released September 9 on vinyl only. This is the first project since her Qualm album which was released last year through Ninja Tune.

The all-analogue German DJ/producer teased the extended play, giving listeners an insight into the wonky, twinkling electro-synth sounds developed for the drops ahead. With an unapologetic demeanor and raw aural approach, this nearly seven-minute long tease is kinder than some of her previous work, while befuddled and experimental all the while. Her syncopation keeps listeners hypnotized and curious about what developed sound will supersede the next.

This year, she played a back-to-back set with Nina Kraviz at Timewarp Festival and is set to play Hydra Printworks Weekender in London with the likes of Ben Klock, DEBONAIR, Jeff Mills, and more.
