The Egyptian-Canadian electronic live duo Husa & Zeyada just presented their new single titled ‘Release The Beast,’ following the success of their debut album, ‘Long Way Home,’ released back in November 2022.
The much-anticipated track ‘Release The Beast’ has been played all over the world over the past year in their live sets, which has created an amplified buzz in worldwide renowned venues such as the SunsetStrip in Buenos Aires, Grand Factory in Beirut, Katerblau & Fusion in Germany, Groove on the Grass & Soho Garden in Dubai, Azimuth in Saudi Arabia, Mutek & Stereo in Montreal, and Sandbox in Egypt.
After finishing the ‘Long Way Home,’ the duo seems ready to embark on a new journey of diving deeper into their fictionalized world, but this time by enticing the audience to release & express their inner beasts. The track challenges listeners to dance to their hearts beat while finding the collective rhythm of everyone sharing the dance floor.
At its core, the song takes you on a trip to a mysterious world through a playful theatrical performance, calling on your inner beast to come out of its cage and be freed from its limitations. The release is a fierce track, with a long intro filled with eerie melodies, trippy percussions, and badass guitar riffs. “Release The Beast, calls your inner beast to come out of its cage and be released from its limitations,” says Adam Husa.
The story will continue visually, as the song is set to release with the rest of the album later in 2024 in the form of a short film through which we will glimpse the magic behind Husa & Zeyada’s amusing world. Stay tuned for more news on the film launch later in the year. Until then, you can catch the duo traveling worldwide with dates including the 10th-anniversary party of Sandbox Festival in Egypt on May 18th. You’ll also find them across Europe, including Sparklers Festival in France, Bucht De Traumer in Germany, infinity Beach Mamaia in Romania & Soundscape Festival in Istanbul.
