J-E-T-S recruit Theophilus London for 'Come Alive'

J-E-T-S, the collaboration project between Machinedrum and Jimmy Edgar, teamed up with rapper Theophilus London for their newest single, “Come Alive,” the final release of their ZAPS EP due to land in full on December 6.

Theophilus London bounces along thick 808 kicks and a casual woodblock melody. The industrious percussion sounds are cemented with a metallic hit that sounds like a stake being driven through a foundation to round out the garage trap piece. Wait until the end, where London shows off his dreamy crooning.

J-E-T-S’ forthcoming ZAPS EP is a six track project that’s being released through Innovative Leisure with features from Zack Slime Fr, Roses Gabor, City Fidelia, Tearz, and Muzi. The duo began releasing music in 2012 and again in 2015. This year really saw the collaboration project in stride as they released their debut 12 track album, ZOOSPA.
