Jamie xx has the golden touch when it comes to releasing innovative new electronic music with his latest “LET’S DO IT AGAIN” another dancefloor-ready anthem.

The seven-minute plus cut follows the long-awaited official release of his remix of “Shelter” of The xx which shows it doesn’t matter if he’s releasing in 2017 or 2022, it all sounds great!

“LET’S DO IT AGAIN” is actually the first solo release from Jamie xx since 2020’s “idontknow” and is just so damn good. Think euphoric chords, a chopped and layered almost gospel vocal and really pumpy drums. There’s even a moment where it feels like a bit of a country ho-down! He really is the master of the simple yet effective ethos.

Does this mean we might actually get a Jamie xx album this year? Here’s hoping.
