Jenner, a prominent figure in Toronto’s underground house music scene, is set to release her latest live session on Thursday, August 15th at 15:00 EST. This new offering showcases the artist’s signature deep, dark, and hypnotic sound against the backdrop of the Canadian city picturesque waterfront.
In discussing her creative process, Jenner revealed her longstanding passion for music videos and her careful selection of tracks that complement the sunset ambiance while remaining true to her distinctive style. “I specifically chose tracks that were appropriate for the sunset but I was very careful to stay true to my sound which is deep, dark and hypnotic at times,” she explained.
Jenner’s influence extends far beyond her hometown of Toronto. While she has become a staple at local hotspots such as Coda, Vertigo, and Electric Island, her talent has also graced international stages. From the Mayan Warrior at Burning Man to KaterBlau in Berlin and the Williamsburg Hotel Rooftop in Brooklyn, her music has resonated with diverse audiences worldwide.
In 2021, Jenner’s debut release ‘The World That You Know,’ a collaboration with Mustafa Ismeaal on Deep House Toronto, amassed 70,000 plays on Soundcloud. This success was followed by her EP ‘Release,’ created in partnership with Sydney Blu and released on the Berlin label Katermukke.
Looking ahead, she has plans to release more original tracks this fall and is set to launch her own label, Darkest Hour Records, which will include a monthly podcast.
