Johannes Brecht Trio Releases Single “New Grass ft. Pitou”
The iconic German producer Johannes Brecht is stepping out of the spotlight to let his music shine. His single “New Grass ft. Pitou” from his upcoming album Disparaître, marks a reunion with his old jazz ensemble after 15 years apart. The trio, comprising Brecht, Antonio Farris, and Matteo Capreoli, spent three days jamming together at Brewery Studios in Berlin, resulting in a collection of nine experimental electronic jazz tracks.

The brand new single “New Grass ft. Pitou” off the album presents a dreamy and retro soundscape to this electronic-jazz fusion album. Dutch singer Pitou lends her vocals to this track, which intertwines seamlessly with Brecht Trio’s atmospheric production. It seems like all musicians, whether present in the recording session or not, are entering a smooth and sensual dialogue with each other. Lights dim and the ambience softness. “New Grass ft.
