Josh Baker launches new label Baker’s Dozen with ‘Back It Up’ feat. Omar+

The track blends deep tech house and R&B vocals.

Josh Baker has launched his new imprint Baker’s Dozen, kicking things off with his single ‘Back It Up’, featuring rising London producer and vocalist Omar+.

The track, which blends deep tech house with R&B-infused vocals, has already generated significant buzz, accumulating over 5,000 organic TikTok creations and earning early support from Chris Stussy, Solomun, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and MK.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Omar+ revealed that the track came together unexpectedly after Baker heard his demo and quickly reworked the beat, maintaining its original energy while refining the production.
