Justin Timberlake's LP 'Man of the Woods' No. 1 on Billboard 200

Justin Timberlake is back on top. The R&B/pop star earned his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Man the Woods.

According to Nielsen Music ( Billboard), the collection moved 293,000 equivalent album units last week. Of that sum, 242,000 were in traditional album sales. It wouldn’t be farfetch to say that JT’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in Minneapolis help pushed his album sales wise.

Timberlake also earn the title having the largest first-week sales for an album by a man since Kendrick Lamar’s Damn premiered at No. 1 on the May 6, 2017 with 603,000 units with 353,000 in traditional album sales.

Out Timberlake's Man the Woods pure album sales, 139,000 copies were in digital albums, 89,000 were in CD sales and 15,000 were in vinyl LP sales (Target sold an exclusive orange-colored edition Man the Woods on vinyl, while all other retailers had the black vinyl version).

Last week's No. 1 champions Migos dropped to No. 2 with their latest effort, Culture II. The LP sold 88,000 units last week.

Meanwhile, Timberlake opened up a Man the Woods pop-up shop in New York as part New York Fashion Week. The store sold apparel from 16 major clothing brands, but oddly enough, JT's own clothing brand, William Rast, was nowhere to be found.

The store opened on Friday (Feb. 9) and closed up shop on Sunday (Feb. 11).
