Kai Wachi taps into emotional side for newest single 'Run' with Dylan Matthew

Widely revered for his hard-hitting dubstep sound, talented producer and fitness guru Kai Wachi has unveiled a new side of his musicianship with his latest single, “Run.” Featuring the emotion-inducing vocals of frequent Slander collaborator Dylan Matthew, “Run” is a beautiful sonic journey that flawlessly balances Kai Wachi’s aggressive bass sounds with a more ethereal tones.

Speaking to EDM All Day on the creation of ‘Run’, Kai Wachi said,

“Last year I was in this headbanger mindset of just making some tracks that’d go off crazy live. With “Run” I wanted to step into a bit more of an emotional, feelsy direction and do something a little different which fans have dubbed Cry Wachi. Dylan slayed this collab and it wouldn’t be what it is if it weren’t for his talents.”

Kai Wachi knocked this single out of the park, and has left us anxiously awaiting the next installment from the lovingly dubbed “Cry Wachi”. Stream ‘Run’ with Dylan Matthew below.
