Embassy One presents ‘Melting’, the latest tech house track from KIDSØ, a dynamic duo based in Munich. This song is a collaboration with Polish singer, Helaine Vis.
‘Melting’ delves into the realm of past regrets and the inherent struggle to let go of them. Grassinger and Schneider have crafted a track that melds a growling bassline and rhythmic handclaps with a brass-heavy lead. The deeply evocative lyrics and mature voice of Vis complement the track’s nostalgic undertones.
The lyrics, ‘I saw ice in his eyes, now it’s melting. How I didn’t want to make him cry. I saw ice in his eyes, now it’s melting. I wish that I could turn back time’, add emotional depth to the song.
The collaboration between KIDSØ and Vis has been in the works for a while. They first made contact during their early releases with Springstoff several years ago. After hearing Vis’ track ‘Ice’, they felt an immediate connection and started working on ‘Melting’.
This latest track attests to KIDSØ’s ability to merge electronic music with songwriting. Composed of Moritz Grassinger and Martin Schneider, KIDSØ is recognized for their innovative approach to music production.
