Kidswaste re-emerges from creative hiatus with lead single from debut album 'Need You' [Stream]
French producer Kidswaste started his career with momentum and industry-wide support thanks to his unique spin on electronic music. After releasing a few singles spread across 2017 and 2018, he took a brief hiatus from releasing music, though now that creative break seems to be drawing to a close. The producer has now returned with the lead single from his upcoming debut album, “Need You,” signaling to a refreshed perspective for the promising young talent.
The track blends emotive vocals that touch listeners to their core with an elaborate backdrop. He twists a variety of different synths around a pulsing bassline, and his sound has a faint similarity to productions by Porter Robinson. Each time the song is played, the listener is bound to discover a new sonic element, and the single finds a way to instill a sense of calm while breaking through with brief moments of optimism and energy. “Need You” features vocals by Kidswaste himself, making the track even more personal to his creative re-entrance.
“Need You” is out now Counter Records.
