Kill The Noise delivers heavy dubstep tribute to Slipknot's 'Duality'

Kill The Noise has bestowed upon Slipknot‘s “Duality” the proper dubstep remix it deserves. Though it’s a considerable feat to tackle one of the heavy metal band’s most iconic songs, Jacob Stanczak stepped up to the plate and delivered some bass smashing mayhem alongside Corey Taylor’s guttural screams and Mick Thomson’s raging guitar. This remix somehow made the original heavier, proving a complementary crossover between the two likened genres.

There’s even a second drop that pierces the high-end senses and a third and final drop that obliterates any sense of sanity. Kill The Noise did one of his favorite band’s music justice, truly evoking the darkened pain and nu metal allure the band from Iowa became so popular for. Stanczak even took time to outline why he decided to create the remix in the first place.

“Hey everyone. this remix is just a tribute to one of my favorite bands,” Stanczak writes in the song’s YouTube description. “Not just cause they have made some of my favorite songs, but also what they’ve been through. I don’t want to dwell on it, but those familiar with their past know there have been a lot of ups and downs for them. I relate to some of it – maybe you do too – and I think what makes songs like this important to me, is being able to relate to another person dealing with shit. Hope you enjoy listening to this. I had a lot of fun fuckin’ around with it and put a lot of surprises in there.”
