It’s time for KOAN Sound to inform a brand new story in album kind. Polychrome is a document that took three years for the Bristol duo to make, with copious quantities of time spent within the studio honing each element till every of the LP’s tracks fell completely into place. It’s set for a December 7 launch, and in addition rings within the creation of their new label, Shoshin.
The producers gave followers an audiovisual preview of their mission with a snippet of “Virtual Light,” one of many eleven songs that make up the document. Fluid visuals, which KOAN Sound have suggested are a “highway map” to the album, are a becoming complement to the music — which factors to a piece erring on the experimental facet, and boasting heavy retro influences. A world reside tour will observe the album launch, with a kick-off of their dwelling city of Bristol in February.
