La Torre Ibiza marks 10-year anniversary with ‘Volumen Cinco’ compilation

To celebrate a decade of sunset sessions on Ibiza’s west coast, Hostal La Torre released ‘La Torre Ibiza Volumen Cinco’, a 15-track compilation curated by long-time residents Pete Gooding and Mark Barrott.

Now available on CD and double vinyl, the release captures the venue’s essence with a genre-spanning journey through Brazilian soul, ambient electronica, deep house, and dusk-lit techno. The compilation features a blend of classics and contemporary gems, including selections from Nina Simone, Mazzy Star, Boards of Canada, and Talk Talk, alongside newer contributions from µ-Ziq, Eden Burns, and Auntie Flo. A brand-new exclusive from Barrott also makes its debut on the record.

Described by Test Pressing as “a place of pilgrimage,” Hostal La Torre has become synonymous with the island’s golden-hour sound. With ‘Volumen Cinco’, the venue offers a lasting tribute to its musical identity.
