Legendary DJs Carl Cox and Eric Powell to guest program rage
Legendary DJs Carl Cox and Eric Powell have been called up to guest program rad TV show rage this Saturday and will deliver an unsurprising serving of A++ tunage alongside some ‘amazing stories’.
For those not in the know, rage is a TV show on the ABC that has been running since 1987 and delivers the best and often, weirdest music videos from artists from all walks of life. They consistently feature very special guests for episodes of unique programming with everyone from A-Trak and Mark Ronson to Calvin Harris and Moby sharing some of their favourites.
With such a huge and long history in dance and electronic music it’s a no brainer that Carl Cox and Eric Powell will be sitting on that dainty red couch for a solid session of aural programming that’s teased music from The Smiths, Massive Attack, Prince, James Brown and more.
The two have been in Australia consistently over the last few years with Carl more so playing a handful of festivals and events including PURE and Babylon so it’s long overdue to feature the big men of the dance music scene.
Tune in this Saturday at 10am and midnight on the ABC
