Listen to Four Tet’s enchanting new single
From the comfort of his room and the sunshine penetrating his double glazed London window, Four Tet aligned the probable rare glimpse of sun shining into his studio (you know, being the England and all) with an announcement Instagram.
The UK producer who’s most famous for his left of centre downtempo / experimental house has released new music today. It’s the next glimpse of the creative stuff from the man, since his recent release in March dubbed ‘Only Human‘ that he peculiarly released under the alias KH aka Four Tet (KH are his initials). It’s was a percussion focused festive track with a choir of sorts in it. Slightly more uptempo than his usual brooding ballads.
Hitting digital stores today is the radio length friendly single dubbed ‘Teenage birdsong’. It’s a fantastic melodic semi oriental / enchanting toned track that’s both fun and friendly with a subtle sinister undertone, achieved by the murmuring synth sitting in the background.
