Australia’s masterful funk duo, , have been hard at work developing their dancefloor-shaking disco sound with their Dalliance EP earlier this year and latest single “Signals.” To cap f the year, the pair have flipped fellow Oceania native, Lorde, and her hit single, “Dynamite.” Layering Lorde’s tranquilizing vocals with sprightly piano chords and a grooving bassline, Midnight Pool Party takes inspiration from the summer weather down under and creates an easygoing yet fun flip to cap f the project’s monumental year.
