Louis The Child team up with Wrabel to deliver future bass soundscapes on feel-good single, 'Too Close'

Since Louis The Child first captured the attention of the electronic scene with K.Flay featured single “It’s Strange,” the duo have continued to traverse new sound territory while perfecting their signature, effervescent production stylings. Now, the Chicago producers have joined forces with singer/songwriter, Wrabel, for the latest evolution of their beloved future-bass craft with new single, “Too Close.” Wrabel previously collaborated with Louis The Child to write “Better Not (featuring Wafia)” and has gathered credits on both pop and electronic peers, including Kesha, Galantis, Kygo, P!nk, Afrojack, and more.

Laden with bright brass tinges and punchy lines, “Too Close” balances soft ambiance with upbeat melodies, meticulously focusing on accentuating mid-to-high-range sonic elements. Playing with voice-pitching and layering vocal harmonies, Louis The Child inject rosy energy into a carefree, heart-racing track with their manipulation of bouncy synths, airy chimes, and pop-leaning structures. Careful isolations and diverse soundscapes carry and showcase Wrabel’s smooth vocals throughout. On “Too Close,” Louis The Child once again reaffirm their ability to deliver infectiously feel-good spirits.
