Lucii and Champagne Drip deliver melodic Wakaan collaboration, 'Me and You' [Stream]

Spring is for lovers, and it appears psychedelic-bass label Waakan is not safe from Cupid’s arrow as Lucii and Champagne Drip drop their emotional collaboration, “Me and You.”

Lucii’s soothing vocals question the reality of love as the cinematic production of the track serves as a soundtrack for the anxiety brought on by a blossoming romance. The compressed bass of Champagne Drip’s kaleidoscopic signature sound engulfs the drop before transitioning into a softer, dream-like breakdown that allows the rising Wakkan star’s emotive lyrics to float freely. 

Both artists have teased the song heavily in recent months, with the collaboration becoming a staple of Champagne Drip sets on Excision’s Evolution tour. Beyond her debut at Bonnaroo and Electric Forest, fans of the song will have the opportunity to hear “Me and You” dropped twice as Champagne Drip joins Lucii on billing for Bass Canyon and Sunset Music Festival.
