Lunar Lunes: A-Trak wows on 'Work It Out,' RAC reveals mix of Oliver Tree's 'Hurt' + more
Each week, New Music Friday sweeps through with torrential force, showering streaming platforms with immeasurable amounts of new tunes. Just like EDM All Day rounds up 25 of the biggest songs of the week for the Hot 25 Spotify playlist each New Music Friday, Lunar Lunes serves as a landing pad for SoundCloud users who want a whole new dose of tunes to kick off the work week.
A-Trak kicks off the week with a wow-worthy new original, “Work It Out,” and iLan Bluestone and Maor Levi tap EL Waves for “The Distance.” Diplo dons his cowboy hat for an upbeat remix of Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road,” and RAC takes on one of his favorite new artists, Oliver Tree, in an alternative-inspired mix of “Hurt.” Afrojack and Jewelz & Sparks bring along Emmalyn for “Switch,” and Flosstradamus puts an intense spin on NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg‘s “REDLIGHT.” Moon Boots delivers his first offerings of 2019 in the form of the Keramas / Harpanet EP, and Klingande and Joe Killington prove put the spotlight on a bright harmonica theme in “Ready for Love.” Goldroom continues to deliver a slew of originals in 2019, this time teaming up with Love, Alexa for “Do You Feel It Now?,” and Nero travel back to the ’80s in “The Ballad of Synths.” Party Favor links with everyone’s favorite dancer, Salvatore Ganacci, on the flaming-hot “Wasabi,” and 1788-L flexes his talents on his new EP, S Y N T H E T I K. Martin Garrix, Macklemore, and Patrick Stump form a talented trio on “Summer Days,” and Koven tug at the heartstrings on “Love Wins Again.” Lucas & Steve reveal the Ultra Live Anthem of 2019, “Inception,” and Hotel Garuda keeps the groove going on “Head In The Trees.”
