Electronic duo Maribou State, comprising Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, has returned with their latest album ‘Hallucinating Love,’ released through Ninja Tune. The record stands as a testament to resilience and artistic evolution, following a period of personal challenges for the band.

The album’s release was preceded by a string of successful singles: ‘Dance on the World,’ ‘Bloom,’ and ‘Otherside’ — the latter featuring vocals from longtime collaborator Holly Walker.

‘Hallucinating Love’ carries deep personal meaning, emerging after Chris Davids’ battle with Chiari malformation. His surgery in late 2023 and subsequent return to the studio has strengthened the duo’s bond and added emotional depth to their music.

Additionally, Maribou State has announced an extensive tour, marking their return to North America after six years. The duo will perform across major U.S. and Canadian cities and, notably, will play three consecutive shows at London’s Alexandra Palace this February — joining select artists like Fred Again… and Four Tet.
