Martin Garrix announces new collaboration with Fall Out Boy and Macklemore, 'Summer Days'
Martin Garrix, Macklemore, and Fall Out Boy all recently launched the same thinly veiled message on social media, alluding to what appeared to be a collaboration between the polarizing pop-rapper, Chicago-native pop-punk champions, and the “Dreamer” producer. Fans quickly caught on to three images all tagged minutes apart with the same caption, “I got this feeling on a Summer day,” sending the internet abuzz with speculation, and now Martin Garrix has confirmed the forthcoming joint effort.

The caption invoked the opening line of Icona Pop’s inescapable “I Love It,” though now Garrix has provided more concrete context for the upcoming release. Officially titled “Summer Days,” the track features Fall Out Boy’s rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump and the “Thrift Shop” rapper, and is due to land on April 25 on Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS.

Garrix has an impressive track record when linking with other artists, and he appears ready to add what many are expecting to be a summer anthem to his already impressive rap sheet of high profile collaborations with “Summer Days.”
